So you should have given your presentation by now - some of you have to do this.
You will get your marking from Miss and you have a chance ot comment - if you need a higher grade we can arrange for you to give the presentation again or cover the elements in another activity.
Over the next few weeks you must COMPLETE your ANIMATED FILM. This means finalising your storyboards and plans, completing your puppets/models/plasticine figures and your backdrops etc.
Then, in ONE SESSION, photograph your sequence. We will import this into Final Cut and then you can export the film.
This MUST BE COMPLETED before HALF TERM - there is also an evaluation to do.
You will be given the outline of timings for the next work and what the marks are given for in respect of the film and the evaluation as you need them.

This will conclude this part of the Unit. You will have completed Unit 10 (tasks 2-4)

Work This week - Preparing Presentations
Your presentation must be given as a GROUP on Wednesday 23rd January 2013.
You have been given the sheets to tell you what to include and how you will be graded.
1. Present in a group - use lots of images and you can use examples of video as well.
2. Everyone MUST talk at some point to get some marks - you should talk for a reasonable amount of time each
3. Explain your idea properly so you can also get the credit for Unit 10
4. PRACTICE! so you all know what you're going to say and roughly how long things will run - it also allows you to check everything will work.
You have another THREE weeks after that to COMPLETE your films:
14/1 - Prepare and practice presentation
23/1 - Give presentation on Wednesday - make animated film
28/1 - Continue filming animation
4/2 - Finish off and edit animation
Use the SHEET GIVEN TO YOU with all the grading criteria and levels for the presentation so you know what you are being marked on and how to gain a pass/merit/distinction.
FINISHED FILM ready to export on THURSDAY 7/2/13
